Political Correctness by Chazlene Political Correctness by Chazlene
Part of a uni project about reduction, we had to produce a set of posters which tell people to reduce something in their lives which will benefit them, in this case it was political correctness. I'm glad with the fact that I avoided the obvious solution of pasting a smiley face onto a tyrant such as Hitler or Stalin, and instead went for the more subtle barbed wire in the shape of a smiley face.

I don't think people should just say whatever they want, so I'll have to disagree with this.

Right, except against anyone who will point out that your ideology will inevitably predispose you to seeking "reprisals" (public censor, witch hurting, re-education) against anyone who happens to disagree with you.

I'm happy being an individual who with conviction will never redundicate my inborn morality to the standards set by an agenda, and there is nothing you can do in society to stop me from speaking my mind for what I personally believe is right, and against what my eyes see to be injust.

So, block me or shoot me. :P

Stop making assumptions. As I said, I just oppose hate speech and discrimination, and therefore freedom of speech must be slightly limited. I don't care about whether you agree with my opinions or not, that's entirely up to you.

As a correcting caveat, to the extent of said "hate" inciting acts of violence or societal ostracism of individuals by way of individual persecution sanctioned by government institutions.

In which case, the multicultural experiment is working quite well in favor of those you portend to "protect" [use] in order to erase others in their wake out of the historical record both culturally and genetically, to which I will never stand for.

It is also up to me to completely disagree with your overall aim of creating such a hellish utopia which is completely anathemetic to the human condition of competing interests and cohabittating ideals in the marketplace of ideas. You may not like what I say, feel, or think, but you will never shackle me to constructions defining what YOU think I can or cannot say.

There's no sense in what you're saying, you don't know what I think, you can't read my mind. Stop yourself.

Indeed I cannot read your mind, but you and your like regardless show yourselves to be unfailingly predictable as always. A high tier autistic like me versus a half lid sociopath like you, is no contest.

Blow me. :)

What is 'Political Correctness'? It is a process starting in the 1970s in which some people try to re-work the way people spoke or thought in academics and general parlance to be less loaded and more inclusive. Don't refer to the "men of France" but the "people of France" and eliminate things where minorities were the butt of jokes simply for being minorities with dark skin and so forth. A few people got a bit over-zealous in this and did things like remove Huckelberry Finn from the libraries due to the presence of the N-Word, which led to some comedians making jokes about it. Then Right Wing figures used this new buzz word to contrive some convoluted totalitarian scheme and made it out to get you and impose a dictatorship somehow. The aims of which was to let them be homophobic, sexist and racist and look like the heroes.
