Yeah suppose I should make another Journal entry, been quite a while since the last one.

Well I finished my foundation course at Farnham with a pass which I can't complain about, worked quite a bit over the summer as a gardener (not my first choice of job of course), and managed to get a week's work experience at some graphic design place in Oxford which I ended up getting paid £250 for since they liked a book cover design I did so much, which was a pleasant surprise. And now I've started my Graphic Design course at Southampton Solent, during which so far I've got seriously depressed and been on medication in the first term, had a trip to Amsterdam which I must say really wasn't that educational, just consisted of getting drunk and going on fairground rides, and managed to actually start properly learning Illustrator and InDesign.

Oh well, I moved to a different halls a couple of weeks ago to see if that would help me feel positive about being at Solent... it sort of has, still feel I'd be better off somewhere else though or if I stayed on at Farnham.

All this feeling down however has inspired me to do something drastic and out of the ordinary, and that together with recently watching Banksy's 'Exit Through the Gift Shop' I came up with the idea of getting into street art. Nothing too risky or dangerous to being with though, might just produce stickers to place around Southampton or Wantage advertising ATK or The Loch Tech Monster.

Ooh that's another thing, ATK has set up a new sister site called 'The Loch Tech Monster [link], which when it's finished (haven't changed the design at all yet), will be a review site for games and technology, such as headphones and fancy keyboards. So I'll be cracking on with designing that soonish, you may have already seen the development of the logo for it which I have uploaded.

Well that's all I can think of really, should be uploading more Illustrator based work now since I finally have a basic grasp of it, over and out.
